Just lately I have been busy preparing things for my application to Sherwood Art Week, the majority of things are cards and paper goods as well as a few small gifts, I had to restrain from going off on a tangent! But I'm sure over the next few months I will get lots more things made, one thing especially that I want to have a go at is making scarves (pom poms galore!)
Here are some of the things that I have been making:
I have done about 10 different designs in total of animals and faces all embellished with wearable hair clips, bows, bracelets and necklaces, so its a card and a small gift all in one!
I started a range of cards with cocktail recipes included on them, although most can be given on any occasion, some are themed such as this one which would be ideal for valentines, anniversaries etc
I have made a range of playing card size 'love notes' to leave little messages to show someone some love! I am also working on a range of lunch box ones at the moment.
There are also some magnet cards, I sprayed some kids alphabet magnets gold and fastened them to a card, they could say just about anything you like (providing it fits!)
Here are some recipe cards that I have been working on, I am thinking I might make some cocktail cards in a similar style
Inspired by an origami shot glass I have made these cards which go on the neck of a bottle and have a pop out shot glass, the drink needs to be drank quickly though!
A little tooth fairy jar and receipts...
I made some 'whiteboards' by framing images inside decorative frames. They can be drawn on with a dry erase marker and easily wiped off
And then of course I have all my laser cut cards (below), now to wait and see whether I get a place!
